Ben, who grew up with Cerebral Palsy, brings lived experience and a strong passion for advocacy—especially around physical accessibility. After receiving care through Shriners Hospital for scoliosis, he earned his Bachelor of Social Work in 2013 and began his journey with The Arc as an intern. He's served on the board since 2013. He continues to support inclusive communities through ongoing volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity ReStore.
Christie is a dedicated advocate for people with disabilities, with a lifelong passion for service and community inclusion. With over 35 years of leadership experience in nonprofit, government, and community roles, she brings compassion, commitment, and a strong voice to every organization she serves.
Megan serves as Treasurer on the Board of The Arc of Cedar Valley. A passionate advocate for inclusion and equity, she is committed to ensuring that all people have access to the opportunities and rights they deserve.
Lonnie has served since 2006 as a dedicated advocate and supporter driven by the journey of raising her daughter with Down syndrome, autism, and ADHD. Her lived experience has fueled a passion for inclusion, awareness, and community engagement. Her commitment remains rooted in creating a more understanding and accessible world for all.
